I learned from the Great Bend card that I could arrange a van tour of Cheyenne Bottoms. I just finished a 3 hour tour with a docent who has a PhD in Ornithology. It was the best birding tour I ever went on. He explained how to identify birds based on characteristics and behavior. We saw 40 species on our tour.
Based on how this trip turned put, I am looking forward to scratching off more Kansas cards.
